About the Author
Emily Bowie is from a small town in Western Canada. She went to university for six years, two degrees later she started her ‘big girl’ job. She married her high school sweetheart and they have two amazing children. After having her children she decided to switch up her career and focus more on her writing. This is her second novel. When she is not writing she can be found reading a good book, making digital scrapbooks and being physically active—whether it is at the gym, going for a walk, or playing /keep up with her children.

This was different for me. I had not read anything by this author before and did not know what to expect.
When I first started reading it, it was difficult for me to keep up with it. I wasn’t sure the direction the story was going, I just thought that the author was writing a bunch of different stories in one book.
I was going to stop reading it, but then I really wanted to see what happens. The main reason I was going to stop reading, was because there is cheating in it, but then you discover that Cole, who is the husband who cheats, well his wife is a nut case so I understood why he did what he did. No, it wasn’t right, but who am I to judge.
There are a several different stories that happen, but in the end, they all start to come together. It was very interesting to see how it was all done by the author, very creative.
The sexy side of the book was OFF THE CHARTS. So if you are looking for a story that goes into all different kinds of directions to where at one point I was going to have to do a spread sheet to keep up with all the character, but it did start to come together and I understood it… this book is for you. Just as long as you can handle some triggers that people complain about… “cheating” being the big one… and please… if I can handle it… it can’t be that bad.

After reading the blurb for this book and talking with the Author I was intrigued to say the least and couldn't wait to dive into this book. There was something about the whole aspect of 3 couples all coming together to make one book that called to me and I wasn't left disappointed. The authors writing is captivating and made me want to read quicker than my brain could absorb what was written on the pages.
So we start with 3 couples and their stories are great
Couple 1 ~ Roco and Glenda they seem to be the perfect couple. In love 2 great daughters and a nice family home. However Roco wants more he would love a son, but this would change the dynamics of the perfect life they have.
Couple 2 ~ Ethan and Summer they show the world that they are the perfect couple but this dosnt seem to be the case.Summer is a Lawyer, Ethan is a doctor and their 17 year old daughter Rose.
Couple 3 ~ Cole and Giada, Giada is a stay at home mum taking care of the toddler son and Cole has a job that takes him away from home and gives him the opportunity to cheat on multiple occasions.
When these couples lifes crash together their final story is insatiable. With lies, deceit, friendship and love all being thrown around you will be kept dangling from their web just waiting for the explosion.

We all have that desire to be a fly upon someone's wall.
Wanting to know what goes on behind their door, This book gave me that nature to do so.
This book is fantastically written and was a pleasure to jump in. I loved the not knowing what I'll get from opening ones door. Had my emotions kicked in a gear.
We have set couples that live there life's and with out knowledge to start with intertwined together.
Once you open the door step in and indulge into there life's your taken by surprise.
Each couple have there own story's to tell and what we see on the outside is smiles, waves and nods but once that door closes all truths are free to open and those binds that there wrapped in can come off.
the over all feeling I got from this is book is 'TRUST' They can't trust themselves, Deep down they don't really know each other.
Do we truly know the ones behind the door?
This book will give you mystery, Passion, Tears, Deceit, Strengths and Laughter.
Who will rub up against who?
I loved all the twists and it had me so captivated that I was intrigued to find out what happens next that I couldn't put this book down.
Fantastic work and mind trickery.
