When I Finished This Book,I Was Glowing With Happiness

Sand Witch had me intrigued after simply reading the title,I asked myself "Which way is this story going to go"? I had many theories and none of them were correct .This book is a feel good story full of belly laughs,giggles and more than a few snorts lol.Sharlee is an absolute doll who you can't help adoring and Jude....
Well ,Jude is a multifaceted stud muffin who keeps the one liners coming. Jude needs a change so he signs up online for a retreat with the *Sand Witch* ,but what he finds when he gets there is an extreme life changer. Sharlee is such an interesting person that you know whatever friends she has,have to be similarly interesting and once you meet them you discover that is indeed what they are,Interesting with a capital I. Her aunt is also quite a character,I couldn't stand that she had the nerve to intrude on Sharlee and to make matters worse she brings along Sharlee's dreaded ex. And boy are there some surprises in store for you where he is concerned. All in all,I adored this book,the best parts involving Sharlee and Jude,a couple who found their way into each other's hearts and my heart as well, bringing an eternal smile to my face,a warm glow to my soul and it also gave me quite a spring in my step for the joy in this book is extremely contagious.

I am an avid follower of this author...there isn't a word that she has written that I haven't read.
Once again, she has proven to be The Master of Her Art!
When choosing a book to buy and or read, a person tends to go by what they know. With Poppet, I don't care if she is writing complete nonsense, wrapped in conundrum, doused in theology, and sprinkled with truth. Her approach in wordplay, makes mere mortals wish they could ring the devil up for that meeting at the crossroads.
This story isn't like her others. I am used to her dark matters and turbulent love stories. While it is in her true-to-form self, this book shows a different side to my all time favorite author. This is a breath of fresh air, with a touch of angst and a whole bunch of snark!!! I love it! From the beginning to the end, my heart soared with the complexity of the characters to the extensive, well researched, content. If you do not know this author, know this...she does nothing half-arsed!!! You will get it all!!!
As always I will continue to make my library a shrine to this lady. There is no other, than Poppet!

I love this woman, as well as her words.
This book was a few shades lighter than her usual fare, but just as captivating. It's about going after what your true self desires, shedding the tags of society, and forging bonds that will last for eternity.
