Vulnerable man with sweet, shy woman, they grew into strong, caring, independent adults that completely loved each other

I read the first part of this story in Men Love Curves called Chasing Day. Then I waffled around trying to decide if I was going to break down and get the rest of the story. I despise cliff hangers in anthologies but what the heck I did it anyway. . I'm so glad I did, this story was phenomenal, loved every single minute of every page I read. I completely fell in love with Chase and Daylen. It was touching, wonderful, heart warming and of course hot too. It truly surprised me with the ups and downs in every single chapter. It had no dead places in it and read this entire story in one day, in fact, just finished it and couldn't wait to tell you about it. I loved it, you will too, it just so good, so get this one now while it is hot off the presses and write your own review after you enjoy it as much as I did.

I really liked the conclusion to series. My complaint is I don't like two part books with cliffhangers, in which reader must purchase additional book just to see what happens. I feel like this is a way to gouge us. With that said it was a good storyline with interesting characters.

Chase and Daylen lasting relationship

The two book combo was definitely worth the read. I genuinely don't like cliff hangers but book two followed up exactly where book one Chasing Day left off. Each provided the foundation needed to have you rooting for Chase and Daylen. Childhood friendships that develop into adulthood romance have to be treated delicately. I appreciated the authentic ups and downs of Chase and Daylen relationship. You RESPECT it more because it showed how their foundation of friendship impacted their decision making. Through it all the had a love that weathered the storm.
